About the Christmas shop

NOW CELEBRATING OUR 25TH YEAR

The Christmas Shop started 25 years ago in a small shop in Lechlade by two teachers who worked in Germany and brought back all the wonderful German wood decorations, Incense Burners, Pyramids, Nutcrackers and much more.

Without Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s husband, we would not have had Christmas as we know it now.

Over the years the Christmas shop has evolved into an “Aladdin’s Cave” that so many people have called it. You have to go round the shop 3 times to take in all the products and you will still miss a few!

We are dedicated to offering the best in Christmas shopping by finding the best traditional and contemporary Christmas decorations and ornaments. These are sourced from all round the world to make your Christmas memorable year after year. To mark our silver jubilee year our gift to you is our online shop bringing our traditional "over the counter" services directly and conveniently to you where ever you are. It would be great to welcome you personally to our Lechlade, Cotswold, shop as we cannot put every product online.

Lechlade Shop opening times - 2011 Open 7 days a week . Closed. 25 - 27th December  Open 28th - 31st December  11am - 4pm

2012 Opening Times.  We will only be open at the weekends. Saturday 10am - 5pm Sunday 11am - 5pm 1st January till 18th March and then we will be open 7 days a week Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 11am - 5pm
